It’s been a little while since we had a chance to throw something up here, and with the announcement that House is officially over this season, I couldn’t resist but write a little something about it. I have a long history with House, so consider this a nostalgic look back at the show and where it probably went a little wrong.

Right well I already babbled on about the film nominations in the last post. I’m not going to just going to jump right into television this time! I will warn everyone what I’ve seen before and where my bias lies. I’m pretty honest about that, and this is all opinion!

So the Golden Globe nominations came out today and I gave it a quick look over. I’m not a huge fan of award shows. For every deserved award there is at least one other that isn’t, and let’s not even get started on the nominations which make you go WHAT? I don’t care about who wears what and it only succeeds in being actually entertaining and funny once and awhile. However, I will be watching this one because Ricky Gervais is hosting. Ricky Gervais is one of my favorite comedians and writers in the world, and I love how much he hates the show himself. Here’s a look at the nominees and my gut reaction to each of them. I’m probably only going to respond to the big ones here. I’ll admit when I haven’t seen a movie so you’ll know it’s a mostly uninformed opinion! This is about the film categories, I’ll do another for television.
